Raxit R. Patel, MD

Dr. Raxit Patel specializes in diagnosing and treating pulmonary diseases such as asthma, COPD pulmonary fibrosis, chronic cough and lung cancer. His advanced diagnostic experience includes minimally invasive thoracic procedures, such as, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), bronchoscopy, thoracentesis and transbronchial lung biopsy. Dr. Patel offers a patient-centered care approach, which includes educating his patients and their families about the various treatment options available, including the benefits and consequences, to enable informed decision-making. His special clinical interests include clinical trials involving idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension.
